It’s time that we sit in reverence. It’s time that we breathe. You can try to take away my dreams, but life isn’t always what it seems. It’s time, it’s time we stay quiet so that we can hear. It’s been a long while, since the air was this clear. You can try take our dreams away, oh but we all gonna live another day. It’s time, it’s time, woah it’s time that we fly. Grab a hold of them wings and take like a bird to the sky. It’s time, oh it’s time we swim in the sea. Oh, it’s time, yeah it’s time that we live free. They may try to take our kids’ dreams away but they’re [our kids] stronger than us: they gonna make it their way. . . . . .just like we did, but they’ll take only what they need, and they’ll give and give. until they take, they take nothing at all in trust of what lies within us all. We won’t let them take our dreams away, She made us and we know it, and it’s about time that we show it. I been workin’ on a brand new noise. I been workin’ on a brand new choice. I been workin’ on a brand new way. I been workin’ and workin’ and workin’ and workin’ every single day.

Here we stand at the edge of the world. Here we be together. Here we stand at the beginning. How we gonna make it all better? Why oh, why do are we marching? Marching to where? We don’t know. Why, oh, why are we marching? Girl, I’m ready to grow! Here we stand at the edge of the world. Here we be together. Here we stand at the beginning. It’s time oh it’s time that we make it all better. Here we stand at the edge of the world. Here we be together. Here we stand at the beginning. How we gonna make it all better? Better? Better? Better? Better?

Let Go 03:57
It might take a little time to let our minds unwind. It might take another year, for everyone to let go of what they fear. I’m still holdin’ the torch. Been doin’ yoga on my back porch. I been singin’ to the corn in the fields, cuz it’s the only thing left that’s real. I won’t lie: Yes, it’s been hard to see my life turn up burnt and charred. I don’t know if it will ever be the same. Hey mister, where are you headin’ with your eyes upon the crowds? Hey sister, why are you runnin’ a race against the clouds? Please don’t spend any more time holdin’ on to when things were fine. It’s all changed, yes, it’s all been rearranged. What did they do with all that we knew? What did they do with the ways we all grew? What did they do with to all that we are? And we all trudged to get this far! I have seen the fog role in thick, standin’ on the edge of a cliff. Ever wondered how it would feel to spread your wings, jump, and land in them fields? There we’ll be: free to run wild, with our own inner child, oh no, oh no need to be lonely. Don’t be lonely. Don’t be lonely. Gotta let it all go. Don’t be lonely. Gotta let it all go.

Just a little while ago, I spoke my hardest truth. The one that I’d been thinking on, the one I’d thought had dwindled away. But after all we’d said and done, my truth made me wanna run. Took so many days, getting stronger. You can tell heaven from hell, so please god don’t take him away. Please, forgive me for loadin’ up your plate. Some said it looked good on us. Some had no clue. After this song is done, they all gonna know that I loved you. You can take my hand, whenever you like. My heart is open, and I feel like shining. You can tell heaven from hell, so please god don’t take him away. Please, take some of my strength, but don’t run away. Run away. As the snow falls on down, I can feel the waves of love rollin’ through me but I ain’t gonna drown. Heartache-and-misery is what I used to do, but I just spent so many nights, breakin’ on through, breakin’ through. All you need to do to break on through, break on through, is just stand so strong in everything you feel is true.

How Small 03:21
While we all sit and debate, the big guys be taking our fate. Are we letting go of the reigns? Well, I finally figured it out, why I’m here, ain’t got no doubt: I was sent to see the ways we could all change. These distractions they seem here to stay. They’re trying to take what we could’ve done today. Trying to make us fight. They’re trying to steal our lights. When will we shine bright? I want, nothing at all. And I hope, we can remember how small we are. I been sittin’ outside, since the airplanes died. And I know the void betwixt hasn’t moved anywhere at all. It just got lost in the fall of the illusions, and our masks were torn off. So I guess I’ll keep playin’ my song about love and peace and equality. Beyond what’s right and wrong. Take it or leave it. Scorn or believe it: We all got a right, we all got a right to carry on. I want, nothing at all. And I hope, we remember how small we are. What I need in my life is some truth. All the greed hiding under the roof of the banks that we use and the jails that abuse and the institutions who refuse to admit they are wrong. It’s been way too long. Here we stand on the edge of a brand-new dawn, and a brand-new way, and I can’t understand why we’d flush it away to return to a norm, instead of reform. And change our steps, with no regrets, forgive each other and stand instead in solidarity with diversity, on the brink of possibility. Is it just too hard to see, that the change that we are comes naturally? Are we just too scared to be free, to accept the reality? That our lives are short, and our hearts are small. No matter how tall we are or how far we fall, we might as well leap and trust what we be: A collective humanity one with the earth and the sea, energy floating free, in a space womb of reciprocity. I want, nothing at all. I hope, we remember how small we are.
